Have a beautiful Rainbow Boa, 6 years old, approximately 9-10 ft. in length. I inherited the snake through my son, whom decided that he couldn't take it with him where he moved, however, he would certainly find him a good home. Well, here we are. My wife has named him Crusher, he is a very timid male (as from my wife's research), however, he does not get handled often and we feel that he would be better of with someone that has more knowledge and a profound love for snakes. We would prefer you to live in the Northern portion of Mich. and you can pick him up. He is beautiful, well kept, eats live prey, but he just doesn't get the attention in which he deserves. He's a happy boy, we would love to find him a respectable home. We DO NOT want any inquiries from amatuers that believe it to be funny to realize he is large & let him off in the nearest pond!!!! He is NOT a toy or the latest fad.
We have contacted the Detroit Zoo, some herpetologists, but to no avail. It's unfortunate that we inherited him, because it is not easy to find what is required to handle a large snake. Serious and knowledgable inquires only, please.
Thanks,
